Kayla Meek

Kayla Meek, RN, MPH, MSN, CLNC, CPHRM

Kayla Meek has over 12 years of experience in senior living advocating for resident quality of life and wellness. Kayla’s senior living experience spans over several levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Kayla has held several titles including Vice President of Resident Care, Vice President of Wellness, and Vice President of Resident Experience. Her positions have allowed her to support not only a holistic wellness program for clinical services, but also memory care programming, and resident engagement.

Kayla's passion is building policies, protocols, and programs that improve both the resident and team experience, tracking results through meaningful data points, and most of all, training and education. Throughout Kayla's professional career in senior living, she has created numerous nationally implemented programs/platforms surrounding memory care, engagement, and care services, some of which include dementia education, fall reduction, survey readiness, quality assurance, clinical excellence, cognitive stimulation, and alternative therapies. Kayla’s work has been highlighted in Globe St. Real Estate Forum, where she was named a 2022 Influencer in Senior Housing as well as her other published works, a peer reviewed article, “Restricted Social Engagement Among Adults Living with Chronic Conditions”. 

Kayla received her undergraduate degree from North Georgia College and State University majoring in Health and Physical Education and minoring in Leadership. Kayla received her Masters in Public Health and a Graduate Certificate of Gerontology from the University of Georgia. Additionally, Kayla received a Masters of Science in Nursing through the Clinical Nurse Leadership program at the University of Augusta.

Kayla holds many professional certifications including Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC) and Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM).
